“In Nanchang · 2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition”Is Officially Launched

　　On July 10, the "In Nanchang · 2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition", which organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People's Government and China News Service International Communication Group Jiangxi Branch, is officially launched. The solicitation for the entries will last for 3 months and the prize money for the entries is 50,000 yuan in total.

　　To further enhance Nanchang's international image and influence, from now until October 10, Foreign Affairs Office of the Nanchang Municipal People's Government will launch the "In Nanchang · 2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition" for the global public, media outlets, photographers, video production agencies and social media influencers.

　　It is reported that contestants need to create photography and short videos around the theme. From the perspectives of foreign friends from different fields and age groups who have worked, lived, studied, and traveled in Nanchang as well as friends from international sister cities, all entries should focus on telling the development, international friendly communications or folk exchange activities that take place in Nanchang.

　　According to the competition rules, there are no restrictions on the format, time of creation, or language used in the submission entries. However, the works must closely revolve around the competition theme, and exhibit positive and uplifting content as well as artistic appeal. According to the rules, participants can send their photography and short video works to the competition submission mailbox:inNanchang@163.com.

　　As is reported, there are two categories of awards: photography and short video. A total of 55 awards will be presented with a combined prize money of 50,000 yuan. Among them, there are 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, 5 bronze awards, 20 excellence awards, and 5 popularity awards for photography; as well as 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 3 bronze awards, 10 excellence awards, 5 popularity awards for short videos. Honor certificates will also be awarded.

　　According to the relevant person in charge of Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People's Government, focusing on the practice of the Chinese path to modernization in Nanchang, the competition is seeking for a collection of photography and short video works with novel perspectives and lively content. It will show the life, work, study, and traveling of foreign friends in Nanchang in various of forms such as photography and videos, and show Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi, as a “global city”.
