Foreign Youth Experience the Beauty of Jiangxi Intangible cultural heritage

"Intangible cultural heritage is the essence of national culture and the light of human life's memory. Recently, foreign youths followed intangible cultural heritage inheritors to experience the craftsmanship of handmade porcelain, feel the metalwork through hammering, appreciate Nanchang porcelain panel paintings, and learn to sing the Xuhe high-pitched opera 'The Peony Pavilion.'

Wu Lan carefully and meticulously taught step by step, hand in hand. It allowed Sanae to enjoy a Chinese opera cultural feast and deepened their understanding of Xuhe high-pitched opera.

Metalwork, originating from the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties, has a history of over three thousand years. It is a legendary artistry that roams at the fingertips of craftsmen.Engraving is an ancient handicraft, where cold metals, in the hands of engravers, display their soft and vivid side. With each strike, they infuse a three-dimensional soul into the flat and lifeless metal.

Nanchang porcelain panel paintings are meticulously crafted with rigorous techniques. The figures and animals are lifelike and vividly portrayed on porcelain.

Nanchang porcelain panel paintings inherit the essence of traditional Chinese painting and incorporate the characteristics of Chinese ceramic art. They blend softness with strength, stillness with motion, emptiness with substance, and depict objects with vividness, revealing their essence through the back of the panel.
