Looking at China: Power Supply Services Help Strawberry Production and Income Increase

　　The winter temperature is cold, but in the strawberry greenhouse of Helin Village Agricultural Characteristic Industrial Park in Xiangshan Town, Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, it is a vibrant scene. A large and plump strawberry with bright red particles is particularly attractive. The villagers are busy picking and selling, feeling the joy of a bountiful harvest.

　　The Helin Village Agricultural Characteristic Industrial Park has year-round cultivation of characteristic agricultural products such as chili peppers, cauliflower, and strawberries, among which there are more than 40 strawberry greenhouses. The total strawberry production this year is expected to be around 120000 kilograms.

　　In order to meet the continuously increasing electricity demand of the agricultural industrial park, the local power supply department has provided advanced services. In September 2023, more than 500 meters of lighting and heating lines were installed in the industrial park, significantly improving the electricity environment inside the park. The addition of electrified equipment can improve the growth efficiency and quality of strawberries, and increase output value.

　　The power supply department also launched a heartwarming action for the external power lines and internal power facilities of strawberry greenhouse planting, conducting a comprehensive "physical examination" of the power supply lines and equipment in the strawberry greenhouse planting area. Assist in replacing aging circuits, knife switches, and leakage protectors, promptly eliminate safety hazards, and ensure the use of reliable and safe electricity during strawberry planting, watering, harvesting, and storage.

　　"We will continue to optimize the power supply plan, regularly conduct on-site visits, provide technical support for adding electrical equipment, and better serve to promote the development of the agricultural industry."
