The Jiangxi section of the Wuhan Nanchang ultra-high voltage AC project is fully connected
On December 27th, the Jiangxi section of the Wuhan Nanchang ultra-high voltage AC project was fully connected.
The Jiangxi section of this project passes through two cities, Nanchang and Jiujiang, with a total length of 2 × 248.146 kilometers, 529 new iron towers will be built. Since the start of the project in September 2022, State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power has organized 45 participating units, with nearly 5000 people and 461 days and nights, to reasonably allocate resources, drive local labor employment, promote economic growth in towns and villages along the line, and practice the corporate purpose of "people's electricity for the people" with practical actions.
After the completion and operation of the 1000 kV ultra-high voltage AC transmission line project from Wuhan to Nanchang, it will further enhance the unified consumption and cross provincial optimization of clean energy such as Southwest hydropower and Northwest wind and solar power in central China, providing stronger power energy support for high-quality development in the region.
