Look at China: "Super charging station" boosts Spring Festival transport

On 1st February, at the new energy vehicle charging station on Wenwuba Road in Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, the owner of the vehicle parked the new energy vehicle at the designated location and started charging after scanning the QR code on the charging post with his mobile phone. After only ten minutes, the vehicle was prompted to charge from 10 per cent to full charge.

How can it charge so quickly? The answer is that this charging station is the first "super charging station" in Ganzhou City, which is funded and put into use by the State Grid Ganzhou Power Supply Company in mid-January. It’s equipped with Huawei's all-liquid-cooled super-charging technology, and so the maximum charging power of a single charging gun can reach 600 kilowatts. New energy vehicles charging here can achieve "one second one kilometre", Charge for about 10 minutes, then the vehicles can run 600 kilometers. The driver only need to wait for a short time to travel with full power in his car.

In China, with the concept of environmental protection and energy saving deeply rooted in people's minds, more and more car owners choose new energy vehicles, so how to quickly and conveniently charge their cars becomes the major concern of car owners. Since 26th January, with the Spring Festival travel rush, Ganzhou welcomes the return of migrant workers to their hometowns. In order to alleviate the problem of new energy vehicle charging difficulty in the Spring Festival, State Grid Ganzhou Power Supply Company deployed in advance to increase the charging pile distribution points, organized personnel to carry out line checking and management of charging piles within the jurisdiction. At the same time, they also carry out all kinds of voluntary services, with full “grid power”to help the masses to return home smoothly.(Liu Yiqun)
